Retirement of UCS Specialisation requirement for UCS B-Series
You no longer require Advanced Unifed Computing or Advanced Unified Data Center specializations to be able to sell UCS B-Series servers. However, note holding those specializations effects profitability with VIP eligibility, enables furthering Cisco Cert requirements (i.e. Select, Premier etc) and also provides access to the New Account Breakaway program.

Tell us a bit about your background and why you chose Comstor?
I have had the pleasure to work within the IT industry for 7 years, 5 of those years have been in distribution. My primary focus in distribution has been based around Cisco, working at Express Online, Express Data and Dicker Data. I have chosen Comstor as it has a strong reputation globally and I see a great potential for the business and my career.

Since you've just joined Comstor, what do you think you will bring to the Comstor Team?
My strong connections within Cisco and hardworking can do attitude will help Comstor to become Cisco’s preferred Distributor.

How do you intend to add value
to the Cisco reseller and distributor relationship?

I intend to add value by building strong relationships with the Partners, educating the Partners on Cisco and emerging technologies, training Partners on how articulate business outcomes, introducing Partners to Cisco as a relationship with the vendor is very important.

What are some of the key trends you see emerging in this year, and how do you see Comstor/Cisco capitalising? Two key trends in the marketplace I am seeing this year is around IoT and Security. Cisco has been very focused around IoT and Security, their technology is leading the market, Partners have a great opportunity to work with Cisco and Comstor as we have experienced and dedicated teams. For any Partners that are looking to differentiate themselves I would highly recommend working on these two key trends.

What is the most exciting part about working with a vendor like Cisco?
The unmatched calibre of technology and breadth of portfolio, high quality of employees and the constant evolution of products.

What is your passion?
Professionally, my passion is to Educate Partners and End Users on how technology can transform their business. Personally, I am a car enthusiast with a love for photography, technology and spending time with friends and family.

If you could have superpowers what would they be?
I would have to choose time travel, I would love to go into the future to see what has revolutionised our way of life.
